About Us

Industry Titans answering the call.

The FBI CISO Academy Alumni Association (FBICAAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to secure private sector organizations through programs that promote cybersecurity through peer engagement, education, and collaboration initiatives.

We are joined by more than 400 Private Sector leaders, serving as ambassadors from nearly every FBI Field Office across the United States, dedicated to making organizational infrastructure safe, secure, and prepared for an attack. Members are graduates of the FBI CISO Academy

.

The FBI CISO Academy Alumni Association supports the mission and priorities of the FBI by a commitment to lead and serve.

Our role is three-fold:

    • To serve as the official governing organization, interface, and liaison with FBI Headquarters and FBI Cyber Division;

    • Support excellence in the Private Sector through expert counsel, peer networking, training, and resources;

    • Provide compliance oversight of FBICAAA agreements, policies, and procedures.

Building Safer Organizations through Citizen Leadership

Our members are the backbone of the FBICAAA. They work hand in hand with local FBI Field Offices to develop and deliver threat intelligence and cyber-attacks on their organizations. Alumni meetings bring members together on a regular basis to hear presentations on topics of importance to key verticals around cybersecurity. Alumni volunteer time, expertise, and material support for member service initiatives.

As ambassadors for the FBI, FBICAAA members educate colleagues, peers, and their own private networks about federal law enforcement issues, priorities, and goals; and serves to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in alignment with the mission and resources of the FBI.

Our graduates and members do this by:

    • Providing public education programs to raise awareness of organizational safety issues such as cyber crime, cyber attacks, cyber espionage, insider-threats, scams, and data theft.

    • Equipping members with information, tools and resources to address cybersecurity issues such as threat intelligence, attack surface, and cyber adversary Tactics Techniques and Procedures.

    • Hosting events and discussions that facilitate collaborative relationships among federal, state, and local law enforcement, and promote positive private sector federal law enforcement relationships.

    • Supporting FBI sponsored outreach and information programs to citizens, businesses, religious organizations, and government agencies.

    • Providing guidance to other government agencies on industry best-practice and ideas to combat the growing cyber adversary population.

The FBI CISO Academy Alumni Association provides the oversight, systems, and mechanisms to guide, lead, and support successful operations of high-performing FBICAAA members and leaders aligned to local Field Office needs.
